Currently Playing: Waiting for My Rocket to Come

Today was the first day of student teaching.   I spent the day getting to know the students and getting a feel for where they are.  I have decided with the teacher that I will work on a unit on the Presidents and another small unit on science.  There is a multitude of students grades k-6 going in and out of the classroom all day so it was decided that I would work primarily with the 4th grade girls.  There are three of them and they are on very different levels, but it should be a good experience non the less.

After being with 7th and 8th graders most of last semester it is an adjustment working with younger students.   I will get to use my computer knowledge throughout the 7 weeks, which really excites me.
